Prompt~ tush (buttock)
The lady peered at her reflection. She had never worn anything so beautiful ever. The green and gold dress was magically made to shrink her waist – wasp-like . It camouflaged her figure into flowing curves and her short neck seemed twice as long. The shop assistant helping her to try it could not hide her smirk.
‘How much?’ the lady asked.
‘Three thousand six hundred and ninety nine pounds’ the assistant answered.
A mime-artist would have envied the many expressions that appeared and vanished on her face.
The lady inspected her reflection and said, ‘it makes my tush protrude.’
Disenthralled, she started unzipping the dress.

Did you mean to have the definition for companion up there too?
Companion?
Yes
companion to whom /what ?
It is on your post at the bottom…that was a trifecta word weeks ago.
That refers to trifecta 104 – companions for life ~ a different post.
Thanks for the visit and the like. 🙂
Oh ok, forgive my ignorance 😦
Please do not embarrass me. Its perfectly all right.
It is the site that includes some older posts as related posts.
Thanks and most welcome. 🙂
Thank you for your graciousness kind Sir….cheers 🙂
No graciousness. Plain facts. 🙂
A most excellent excuse.
I love the expressions appearing and disappearing on her face.
Glad you like it Kymm,
Thanks 🙂
Ha!So much for the smirking shop assistant ;-)Cool take YS-am still nibbling on my idea-16 or so hours remaining-hopefully will be able to give shape to the idea.May not get much time after this-so am reading and commenting before writing-which I avoid generally-sigh!
Thank you, Atreyee.
I am just going on to read Trifecta posts. 🙂
:-)I have only one more to read and comment on-unless there are some more last min entries:-)Tomorrow I tackle the for sure extensive FF entries-but I was early there this week-so have covered some first 15-20:-)
Yet to tackle FF 🙂
It is on my agenda -today-will go read the remaining 6 entries on Trifecta first-also have to answer some 50 emails from my school grp-we are having our 4th get together this month-21-23-excitement is at a high 😀
You sure have a busy weekend ahead. Still groping for an idea for FF 😦
Yes I do-I also have to go collect some garments given for stitching from the tailor-agh!
Don’t worry it will come-sometimes it is fast-other times it is the looming deadline which spurs one’s creative juices-look how I submitted my Trifecta piece at the fag end:-)
I hope it clicks.
I will check it right now. Week end cut short.
It will-you always write well YS:-) Ha!ha!Hopefully you will enjoy the pieces you read today-weekend well spent?;-)
🙂
Well done, friend! This story has such wit and bounce. Really enjoyed it :))
Thank you, Jo-Anne.

I love that excuse! Nicely done!
Thank you.
Haha…good thing she found her good sense and dug up an excuse to save her money!
Yes!
Thank you 🙂
No arguments from me.. a more perfect excuse for not buying an overpriced dress does not exist. I love the expressions line. Nice job. Made me smile. 🙂
Thank you, steph 🙂
I suppose it was easy to see a flaw in the dress with that price tag!
Quite right.
Thanks Draug.
Funny how these things happen. Good for her for talking herself out of it. Thanks for linking up!
