Ms Zelle decoded the note using the OR book. She sat in the downhill Café Vaterland-II working hard to code the answer using the latest UK Air Almanac. Old methods are safest, today.

AC, I love the direction you took with this! And I love your last sentence too, because so much of the time it’s true:)
Thank you, so happy 🙂
i must agree, old methods work just as well, if not better. wonderful take on the prompt.
So glad you like it. Thank you 🙂
Love this story, Aesop! Whatever method works, is what I say : )

It’s great where you took this. Your last word is perfectly placed. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you.
I love the mysteriousness in this piece. And that last line is perfect. Nicely done!
Glad you liked it. Thank you 🙂
I like my Air Almanac just fine, thank you very much! 🙂 Don’t know about most writers at Trifecta but, I used to swear by the old method of writing everything longhand and I swore I would remain a traditionalist but, then my Air Almanac came along and I find myself typing on a tablet screen and life just seems better now. I dunno. Just me? My wife, on the other hand, writes letters with a pen! She uses a telephone that has as its’ only function, being a telephone! My wife and I, we balance the old school/new school very well. Thanks for a great post!
Thank you 🙂 I agree that a personal mix of old and new works best for each one of us.
An imaginative take!
Thank you.
A spy story in 33 words! I love how it stands a little out of time. “Today” could be any today. Very cool little piece.
I am happy you like it.
Thank you 🙂
Excellent take – I love the intrigue of it.
Thank you, Momo.
