The Sunday Yarn ~ Flippantly yours.

Prompt ~

One of the several chandeliers in my apartment.

The chandelier shed its light silently on the table set for two in the dining room.

Meanwhile the chandelier in bedroom fell and got lost. It fell as they were necking.

As the lost chandelier was made of precious gems set in gold – the lovers started looking for it. They searched for it on the floor, in the bed clothes and all likely places in the room.

A fluctuation in the voltage and the large chandelier appeared to wink; and the smaller one twinkled for a moment as it fell out of her blouse. She picked it up and put it back on her bare left earlobe.

I do not know how frequently real chandeliers fall, but the chandelier-earrings (called Jhumka in Hindi) keep falling off. Many Hindi movies and songs are an avowal of this fact.
