Back in to the fold

Prompt  –

PHOTO PROMPT© Jennifer Pendergast

The lone passenger in the coach waiting for the train to start fell asleep. He woke up to find a man clad in bathroom slippers and a raincoat sitting across him.

Enjoyed your nap?

Yes, thank you.

What do you think of human sacrifice?

WHAT! Anyways I do not like them.

Why NOT?

I am a vegetarian and believe that all living beings are divine.

Another silence!

Do you have a knife?

No, why?

We shall need it.

A few raised voices outside and a group of police-men came aboard.

The old pastor welcomed him back.

    • Looks like a failure of communication on my part.

A man escaped from a lunatic asylum walks in to a coach with lone passenger. He has OCD about human sacrifice. The police walks in looking for him.

The passenger who is a lapsed church-goer is extremely shocked; he goes back to the church seeking solace.

Thanks for the read and feedback. 🙂

I love arguments
