Maharajah was a disenfranchised king of an erstwhile Indian-state. He guarded the entrance to TRAK in a long golden-coat, a yellow-turban, a long sword in his cummerbund and a big curled moustache.
He opened the door with a flourish to the well-fed, bejeweled and fashionably dressed – alighting from stretch-cars. He looked straight in to the eyes of others …… and they would just go away expecting a kick on their bum.
The Maharajah was effusively tipped. However, he was entitled to just 5% of it. He was a great fan of Orwell and specially liked his first book ‘Down-And-Out-in-Paris-and-London’.
