The windows were always open though she never peeped out of them.
The many visitors found it very disconcerting especially when she revealed the most intimate details to them. The strong breeze from the northern-hills further discomfited them.
Lady Shillingworth had come here for the first time. Her business was over. However, she inquired the reason for open window from the seer.
