There are three deaths – 1) the heart stops; 2) the body is disposed; 3) that moment in future, when dead-person’s name is spoken for the last time ritualistically.
Occasionally, if two people speak of the dead person simultaneously before the 3rd death – he is forced to materialize.
The women lighted the lamps as the power blinked off. The shadows spooked both of them.
Tina and her mother lamented at the same time – We would not be here if Mohamed was alive.
Mohamed their recently expired cook stood before them – You don’t even let the dead rest in peace.
