George Bernard Shaw described marriage as an institution that brings together two people “under the influence of the most violent, most insane, most delusive, and most transient of passions. They are required to swear that they will remain in that excited, abnormal, and exhausting condition continuously until death do them part.”

It was especially true for Mrs Fritz; more so when Mr Fritz some 10-12 years her senior got Alzheimer.

She decided to grapple with her situation.

One day she took him to the Bhool-bhulaiya and left him there to find his way out.

  1. My husband is a mathematician – he’d probably remember maze theory long after he’d forgotten my name and get out! Interesting take on marriage and a ‘solution’ I’ll keep for if I ever need it!

  2. Love this one! It made me laugh at the end, partly because maybe he’ll find his way out before she does! 🙂 So true about how sometimes our loved ones can make us soo mad even when we know it’s not their fault. Sort of cathartic that way.

I love arguments
