Prompt  ….

PHOTO PROMPT © Sandra Crook

Dr Jain wanted his son (Shubh) to study medicine and take over his successful practice. Unfortunately, Shubh had other interests. He had been consistently denied admission to medical-schools. It was a 24×7 discussion at the Jain household.

One day the good Dr decided to be firm and locked Shubh in his room with instructions to study. The young lad wanted to go out and sat brooding and getting angrier. He started hyperventilating and felt as if he was going to suffocate in this room.

He wished the heavy study-table would sail through the wall and liberate him.

It did.

Words ~ 99
PS – Dr Jain is currently searching for a parapsychologist who can mentor Shubh to control his supernatural powers.
Thanks for the prompt Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. SHALOM.

  1. A graphic illustration that parents need to consider their children’s unique desires and abilities, and not try to force them into a mould.
    Good piece of allegory, Yarnspinnerr!

  2. very fun – and before the PS it felt realistic – and this post actually has a message for some parents out there – stop forcing plans!!!!

and then the PS jut took it to the fantasy part – and was nice…

I love arguments
