It is believed that the great pyramid of Giza was originally capped with a giant crystal.   Sir W. Siemens, a British-inventor climbed to the top with his Arab guides.  He received an electric shock as he tried to drink from a bottle.
Siemens moistened a newspaper and wrapped it around the bottle to convert it into a Leyden-jar* and held it above his head.  Soon it was charged with electricity – sparks flew out of it.  The suspicious guides attacked Siemens – who reacted by pointing the bottle towards the guide.   The guide fell unconscious.
True/false – be wary of crystals.
