Prompt ~

This was the 83rd time he had been caught. They always locked him up behind grills. This one was old, rusted and of an uneven design. However the grills did not really matter.
He had escaped all the previous 82 times. He could never really understand their need to lock him up again and again.
A few of them had even named him Houdini without realizing that he was Houdini reborn.

I expect they’re locking him up now just to test their defences. Wonderful take on the prompt. Whatever he’s done, a part of me wants him to escape again 🙂
Thank you, Sarah 🙂
Good story. Most of us want a person to escape. I, along with others, will be waiting to see. Well done.
Thank you, friend 🙂
