Prompt ~
He travels the fastest that travels alone – Rudyard Kipling
*
Ted, Fred and Rud were friends.
Ted and Fred stuck together and were nicknamed Q and U.
Rud was the one in a hurry. He followed his namesake’s advice and traveled alone. He reached great heights but was always surprised to find Ted and Fred already there.
All three disappeared with MH370.
Rud was the first to go but found Ted and Fred frolicking inside the pearly gates.
Noting the exasperated look on Rud’s face Fred said, ‘flying is fastest, unfortunately – we all have only one wing, and can only fly by embracing one another’.

Stuck together. They really are inseparable.
Thanks for the correction and the read friend.
Lovely thought. Expressed well in a poignant manner. On a humorous note, do we want to go ‘there’ with the same people is it? how boring! 🙂
Cheers n tc.

Thanks for the read.
I think we shall find the same lot there too.
Cheers.
My point exactly. I want to go somewhere else where I can meet new people/spirits eh? If not what is the point of dying Eh? 😛
May be that is the reason we all wish to live and live. Here the choice of people we wish to interact is to some extent in our hands. 🙂
I love the image of the characters at the pearly gates. A thought-provoking entry.
Thanks for the read and the appreciation.
